THE IMPORTANT STUFF

RATES AND TERMS

Hello Miette’s rental terms are for a period of 1 week (7 days). Rentals returned before the scheduled due date will still be charged the full rental price. If you’d like to hold on to an item longer than 7 days, you will be charged 10% of the rental fee per additional business day.  All items over $100 are 20% of the rental price per additional business day.

Please note: no refunds will be issued once rentals have left Hello Miette.

CONDITION

Hello Miette makes a reasonable and honest effort to rent out props and surfaces in the best possible condition, but all items are rented “as is.”  I highly recommend that you come to the studio to view the item in person. You are responsible for inspecting items before leaving the studio and notifying Hello Miette of any issues or damage to items while in your care.

PACKING & DELIVERY

To prevent damage, Hello Miette asks the Client take care and wrap Props prior to return. Unreturned packing blankets and totes used to wrap an Order will be subject to a replacement fee.

PAYMENT

BROKEN & LOST

Did you break something?  Don’t worry, it happens!

Please notify Hello Miette as soon as it happens by emailing or texting a photo of the damage.

Always return the item back to us (yes, even though it is broken).  We will assess, notify you what the replacement or repair cost is, and send you an invoice as soon as possible.

Lost?  Yes, this happens, too.  You left it on location somewhere you'll never return!

Let us know immediately, a lost invoice will follow.  Lost item invoices are steep.  Why?  The reason is because we have clients that rely on our inventory, when something is lost and cannot be replaced or repaired it affects our clients' relationship to our inventory.DAMAGES

Hello Miette requires a credit card to keep on file for any missing, destroyed, or damaged items as well as any cleaning fees and/or overdue rentals.  Customer is responsible for any damage to items.  Damages may be billed as either a repair, cleaning fee, or an amount for depreciation up to the full cost--if destroyed

TAX

Hello Miette will honor Client’s Tax Exempt status and not collect taxes on Orders upon receipt of Client’s valid Washington Tax Exempt Certificate.

DEPOSIT

Client is responsible for any damage to items beyond the original condition it was released in. A credit card number must be provided to keep on file in the event of any damage or loss. Damages may be billed as a repair, cleaning fee, or replacement of the predetermined value of the item. The Client will be notified before any fees are billed to the provided credit card in the event of damage or loss of a Prop.

PAYMENT

Hello Miette accepts cash, check, and credit card payments. All Orders must be paid in full to be released. Payment is non-refundable once an Order is finalized and Hello Miette releases Props to the custody of the Client, their agents, or employees.
